Tpl. Timeyin Uwejamomere

Tpl. Timeyin Uwejamomere, is the founder and Managing Partner/CEO of Mangrove & Partners Limited, a development firm set up to strengthen institutions mandated to provide basic services and improve livability of human settlements. Timeyin specializes in the design, management, and implementation of urban water and sanitation infrastructure, as well as governance and advocacy programs. His professional experience has spanned journalism, professional town planning, public policy research, analysis, advocacy, technical assistance, and development project management. He is the author/co-author of several publications and training manuals on WASH sector issues and utility reform, development finance effectiveness, decentralization, and citizen participation.

Prior to setting up Mangrove, Timeyin served as the National Coordinator of the National Action Plan for the revitalization of the water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) sector in Nigeria. He was the Chief of Party of the WASH Coordination Project (WCP), a USAID-funded program, designed to support reform focused utilities to deliver on their objectives in Kaduna and Bauchi states. Timeyin led WaterAid UK’s global urban quality programming teams, providing direct oversight, quality control, and strategic guidance to over 15 country teams in Africa and Asia, between 2005 and 2016. He has managed various multi-country research and intervention projects including the WaterAid in Nigeria country program as Country Director. Timeyin chaired the Board of Lagos Mainland Local Planning Authority between 2000-2003 and was the Deputy Housing and Environment Editor of the Nigerian newspaper The Guardian.
