
Olasupo Shasore is a renowned Nigerian lawyer with over 36 years of experience. As a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) and Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb), he has established himself as a seasoned arbitrator and strategic litigator.
Early Life and Education
Shasore was born on January 22, 1964, in Lagos Island, Lagos, Nigeria. He attended Federal Government College, Lagos and Igbobi College before studying law at the University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University), graduating with an LL.B in 1986. He also holds an LL.M from the University of Lagos (1990).
Career
Shasore is the founding partner of Africa Law Practice NG & Co, a leading commercial law firm in Nigeria. He was Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice of Lagos State from 2007 to 2011. During his tenure, he initiated several reforms, including the review of the Criminal Code Law and the Administration of Criminal Justice Law.
